New Song - "As-Saabireen: The Patient Ones"
The inspiration behind this track was to write a song that would serve as a reminder for myself as well as my brothers and sisters that "Allah is with the patient ones" and that we all go through various personal problems in our lives where we feel sadness, stress, depression and sometimes grief. But all these trials are from Allah and a test for us, but Allah does not burden any soul greater than its capacity, so we should try and pass this test by having patience no matter how difficult it may seem to us... Alhamdulillah, "Eid in the Square" was a fantastic day out for all and a huge success. Thumbs up to the folks at the MCB and the Mayor's Office for organising such a great event which attracted so many people from such different backgrounds under one united and joyous banner. GPU Nasheed Competition on Islam Channel
Assalaamu'alaikum guys, The folks at GPU (Global Peace and Unity) are holding a special Nasheed Competition on Islam Channel, where viewers get to decide who performs on stage at the GPU 2008!
My video, Don't you worry my sisters, will be aired on the show on Islam Channel (813 on sky digital) on Saturday 20th September at 5pm, so make sure you watch it and show your support! :D
